What are the challenges posed to CPS theory by modern applications?
Joint HSCC-ICCPS Panel Session
Time and location: Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 17:10 to 18:30 — Level 1 — Salão Árabe
Description
Application domains such as manufacturing, transportation, and energy systems are currently experiencing significant and – to some extent – revolutionary changes to address the needs of our modern society, which calls for new methodological developments.
The invited panel discussants are selected experts in the relevant application and methodological domains. They will offer some insight into the challenges posed by modern applications, and provide their view on possible interesting theoretical topics to investigate that have potential for practical impact.
The format of the panel session is 5 minutes presentation per discussant, followed by a discussion open to the audience, with two moderators.
